       When I was in high school, before I graduated from college, a friend gave me a book about the gift of life. In that book, there is a story that I will always remember: Lessons from the poor.
       One day, a father and his wealthy family took their son on a trip to a country with the aim of showing his son how poor people lived there.
    They spent a day and a night on the farm of a very poor family. At the end of the trip, the father asked his son: “How did you feel about the trip?”
   “Very well, father!”
   Surprised by the son's answer, the father asked: "Have you seen how poor the people living there are?"
    "Yes!"
    “So what did you learn?”
    The son replied: “I see we have a dog, they have four. We have a large lake in the middle of the garden, they have a small stream with no end. We have the lights that light up the garden, they have the starry sky. Our courtyard extends all the way to the front yard, they have a whole horizon.”
    When the son finished speaking, the father remained silent – ​​speechless.
    The boy continued: “Thank you for showing me how poor they are!”

    Is it true that everything depends on how you see them? If you have love, friends, family, health, humor and an optimistic attitude towards life, you've got it all!
    You cannot buy any of these. You can have all you want, but if your spirit is poor, you have nothing!
